Description
Originating in ancient Greece, a Corinthian Royal Guard’s helmet typically featured a nose guard and eye slits. This helmet was favoured for its protective features and later versions included an impressive plume or mane made from animal hair. Our reproduction of this helmet features a sturdy, matte black steel outer with brass decoration, a real hair mane or plume, linen inner padding and a seven-hole, adjustable leather chin strap. This finely handcrafted helmet is wearable as a costume for Live Action Role-Playing (LARP) or just for fun. If you’d prefer to keep it on display, it comes with a polished recycled and treated mango wood stand.
DISCLAIMER: All products on our website are reproductions, inspired by vintage and antique designs and made to closely match the originals. Each item is handmade by master artisans using often centuries old techniques and traditions. As they are handcrafted, no two items will be identical. Some natural variations and imperfections are inherent in the materials and construction processes used, making each item truly unique. In regards to our armour sets and warrior helmets, each item is made by hand using the same techniques that were used hundreds of years ago to make the original pieces. As such, these pieces naturally come in slightly different colours and sizes, and with some natural, unavoidable scratches and embellishments. These differences make these reproductions even more authentic, as no two sets of original armour were ever the same.
